Podcast Audio Editor Job This role involves working closely with the content team to maintain brand consistency and meet deadlines efficiently. Job Description The Podcast Audio Editor will be responsible for editing podcast audio files, enhancing sound quality, implementing sound design, adding music, and ensuring overall quality control for each episode. Edit raw podcast audio into polished, broadcast-ready episodes Remove filler words, false starts, redundancies, and off-topic tangents Improve pacing, clarity, and flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent Restructure sections when needed based on how questions were answered Insert intro/outro, sponsor reads, disclaimers, or updates when required Follow embedded audio notes and written instructions carefully Deliver clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline Required Skills and Qualifications Proven experience editing long-form podcasts (interview or narrative style) Strong editorial judgment — you know what to cut and why Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely Comfortable working with physician and expert-level conversations Fast, reliable turnaround times Clear, professional communication Benefits We offer a dynamic work environment where you can grow your skills and contribute to creating engaging content.
