Based in London and Porto (Portugal), Applied Blockchain has an expert team of close to 100 developers creating cutting-edge solutions for innovative clients in various sectors. Clients include Shell (also an investor in the company), Algorand, Chainlink and Ledger. We are building a new generation of decentralised solutions, working through some of the most interesting technical problems in this field such as data privacy, identity and wallet management, smart contract design, advanced cryptography and data security.What you’ll be doingBuilding and maintaining automated test pipelinesAnalyse, understand, review the products’ functional and non-functional requirements and identify gaps and inconsistenciesDevelop automated tests for software validation, ensuring the high quality of the systemAs part of the QA team, take ownership of quality aspects of the systemReport and manage/triage existing defects, ensuring proper follow-up and actions are being taken by the teamPromote and adopt QA best practices, contributing to their continuous improvementContribute to the definition of test automation guidelines and standards in order to improve the software testing process RequirementsKnowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes with fluency in Javascript/Typescript and Git/GitHubKnowledge of Jest, Playwright and/or Cypress and BDD tools (e.g. Cucumber)Nice to haveHigh volume, high availability, high stakes enterprise systemsExperience building and/or testing REST and/or web socket based APIsFull Remote WorkAnnual allowance for Training and up to 5 Training days/per yearCompany equipment and Onboarding kitPaid subscription of a mental health support appBirthday OffAmazing referral programmeAnalista
