Solutions Engineer - Brazil

Salt Security is the original API Security vendor pioneering the market as the first vendor in 2018. Since then we have exhibited hyper-growth in a number of customers, threats stopped, and revenue. Across banks, retail and transportation, IoT, autonomous vehicles, and smart cities, every modern app depends on APIs. Attackers realize APIs are the conduits to all sorts of valuable data and services – within the year, APIs are predicted to be the number one application threat vector. Without secure APIs, businesses cannot rapidly innovate. Salt Security has delivered the only patented solution to discover all APIs and their exposed data, stop API attackers, and provide remediation details for dev teams to write more secure APIs.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations that illustrate how Salt's API security solution addresses the critical business issues that a prospect faces
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the customer's technical staff and earn their trust & credibility through your deep technical knowledge and subject matter expertise
  • Deliver strong "proof-of-value" engagements that demonstrate business value and technical benefits
  • Work closely with the Account Executives to align the technical requirements and the solution with the customer's business drivers to demonstrate our unique value
  • Coordinate and deliver RFP/I/Q responses and technical architecture solutions
What you should have
  • 5 years of Presales experience selling security solutions
  • Understanding of APIs, API Gateways, microservices and cloud-native technologies
  • Hands-on experience with a broad set of technologies including, but not limited to, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and Load Balancers
  • Technical curiosity, including the willingness to learn new technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel within your region as required
