Job Summary:
In this role you will perform documented inspections verifying parts conformance to applicable drawings, procedures, specifications and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. The Quality Inspector is responsible for the content of the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and the project quality plan in accordance with customer and Flowserve specifications and international standards. In addition, the Quality Inspector is responsible for defining, advising and controlling all Quality documents required for the project. The Quality Inspector will report directly to the Quality Supervisor/Manager.
**Responsibilities**:
Perform Inspection of Receipt;
Perform inspection of parts in process in general;
Inspect products and raw materials, according to the work program, making the inspection of the material at the reception, during the production process and the release of the final product, examining, measuring, inspecting visually, making practical and destructive tests as standards and pre-established procedures, aiming to reduce rework or scrap in order to ensure quality.
Fill out certification and reports, update inspection routines and processes.
Control the plant's measuring instruments and equipment, checking their condition, forwarding for maintenance and requesting new instruments, when necessary, according to predetermined standards and procedures.
Open nonconformity reports for all problems encountered.
Prepare Databooks with raw material certificates, tests and calibrations for the manufactured equipment.
**Requirements**:
High School or Technical School in Mechanics or Mechatronics
Have a driving license at least category B
Knowledge in Measurement or basic instrumentation and metrology
Intermediate knowledge of the office package;
Have a driver's license (Category B is sufficient)
Have 1 to 2 years of experience in the position or equivalent.
Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analysis and presentation skills
Preferred skills:
Intermediate English.
Knowledge of welding, NDE and quality systems
Knowledge of established quality standards
