Quality Coordinator

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Quality Coordinator to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in São Paulo.

About the role:

• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with the Project Quality Management Plan.
• Supervise the execution of quality plans in all phases of the project (engineering, procurement, and commissioning), in accordance with client requirements.
• Evaluate suppliers' and contractors' quality programs and documentation, approving inspection plans, procedures, and certifications (welding, painting, NDE, traceability).
• Ensure the application of quality procedures in the field and by contractors.
• Develop scope and contract third-party inspection services.
• Coordinate and monitor inspections of materials and services both on-site and at suppliers' facilities.
• Manage and perform internal and external project audits.
• Support engineering in defining and reviewing quality requirements, technical deliverables, contract packages, 3D models, and other project documents.
• Lead the team of inspectors and quality engineers.
• Coordinate the compilation and delivery of final quality dossiers (MDBs).
• Report quality performance to site management and project leadership.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields, preferably with a specialization in Quality Management.
• Professional experience in similar roles and/or leadership positions.
• Knowledge of Quality Management System requirements (ISO 9001).
• Quality Auditor certification is desirable.
• Experience in the implementation, maintenance, and/or certification of Quality Management Systems and in conducting audits, preferably in engineering companies.
