Overview

We are hiring a System Architect to lead system-level design and perform both pre-impact and detailed impact analyses for new features and changes. This role requires strong technical leadership, the ability to evaluate system-wide implications of design decisions, and close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document system architecture designs for next-generation vehicle platforms.
  • Perform System Architecture Pre-impact Analysis to assess feasibility and high-level consequences of proposed changes.
  • Execute Detailed Impact Analysis to identify downstream effects on components, subsystems, and vehicle functions.
  • Ensure architecture complies with Stellantis standards for safety, security, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, validation, and supplier teams to align system requirements and constraints.
  • Support trade-off studies and decision-making for architecture alternatives.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in architecture methods and tools.
  • Contribute to knowledge base and continuous improvement in system design methodologies.
Qualifications & Experience

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in system architecture for automotive or embedded systems.
  • Proven expertise in system-level analysis, requirements engineering, and architecture modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills for both pre-impact (conceptual feasibility) and detailed impact (technical dependencies) analyses.
  • Knowledge of safety-critical systems, cybersecurity principles, and automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE).
  • Experience with modeling tools (SysML, UML, Enterprise Architect, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Background in SDV, ADAS, infotainment, or E/E architectures.
  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR, middleware, or service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience working with Tier 1 suppliers and global OEM teams.
  • Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and simulation tools.
