Understanding of local accounting GAAP requirements. Preparing a list of all local compliances with the help of consultant if required & ensuring compliance of the same. Getting the local books prepared including raising of customer invoices in local system, Intercompany invoices in local system, accounting of local vendor invoices, fixed assets, and provisions. Getting the payroll process with the help of consultant and ensuring timely payment of salary to employees including full and final settlement of employees. Ensuring payment of employee claims as processed by shared service team. Ensuring local books are maintained as maintained in SAP by shared services team are reconciled with the help of consultant & shared services team. Ensuring timely preparation of financial accounts as per local GAAP and getting the same audited within corporate timelines. Ensuring timely payment of advance tax and filing of return with the help of local consultant & shared services team. Ensuring timely payment of Indirect taxes and timely filing of returns with the help of local consultant & shared services team. Basic understanding of working knowledge of SAP is preferable.
