  • Understanding of local accounting GAAP requirements.
  • Preparing a list of all local compliances with the help of consultant if required & ensuring compliance of the same.
  • Getting the local books prepared including raising of customer invoices in local system, Intercompany invoices in local system, accounting of local vendor invoices, fixed assets, and provisions.
  • Getting the payroll process with the help of consultant and ensuring timely payment of salary to employees including full and final settlement of employees.
  • Ensuring payment of employee claims as processed by shared service team.
  • Ensuring local books are maintained as maintained in SAP by shared services team are reconciled with the help of consultant & shared services team.
  • Ensuring timely preparation of financial accounts as per local GAAP and getting the same audited within corporate timelines.
  • Ensuring timely payment of advance tax and filing of return with the help of local consultant & shared services team.
  • Ensuring timely payment of Indirect taxes and timely filing of returns with the help of local consultant & shared services team.
  • Basic understanding of working knowledge of SAP is preferable.
