What's the role?

The Engineering System Administrator will act as a single point of contact for a set of global/regional large accounts (EPCs and General Contractors) to assist in creating a digital twin for Hilti's portfolio of products in their selected plant design software.

You will be based in a regional Project Management Office, serving as a technical support specialist for our sales team in acquiring large projects, and as a Plant Design Administrator in executing and supporting global projects. You will collaborate with a global team to ensure both short-term and long-term readiness of solutions.

What does the role involve?

As an Engineering System Administrator, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Aligning with the PMO Head within the region and the Global Plant Design Business Owner on project pipeline priorities.
  2. Supporting construction project managers and business developers during project acquisition by demonstrating our plant design offerings (3D catalogues/libraries and Smart Plug-ins) tailored to account requirements.
  3. Partnering with customer’s Plant Design Administrators and Model Automation Leads to ensure testing of solutions and catalogue integrity.
  4. Leading the setup of libraries and plug-ins for Hilti and Oglaend Modular supports, Firestop, and Cable Management solutions.
  5. Acting as a single point of contact for installation challenges and troubleshooting software version conflicts.
  6. Training customers’ modelers and designers on library and plug-in usage.
  7. Creating bespoke assemblies for project-specific or account-specific customizations.
  8. Training sales and business development teams on plant design solutions within the organization.
  9. Documenting all customer-facing activities in Salesforce and Clickup.
  10. Gathering customer feedback on challenges and opportunities for improvement, and communicating this to the Global Plant Design Business Owner.
  11. Collaborating with the Development team to test libraries and document feature requests in Jira.
  12. Supporting business development teams by sharing best practices and success stories.
What you need is:
  1. A degree in Engineering or an equivalent IT diploma.
  2. Experience with or within EPCs, engineering consultants, contractors, and industry projects is preferred.
  3. Proven experience in engineering systems administration (Aveva PDMS/E3D, Integraph SP3D, Bentley, Autodesk P3D).
  4. A good understanding of engineering practices and project execution concepts.
  5. Strong knowledge of engineering design, drafting applications, and data integration software.
  6. Fluent in Portuguese, with advanced English and intermediate Spanish skills.
  7. Availability for international business travel: 15–20%.
