What's the role?

The Engineering System Administrator will act as a single point of contact for a set of global/regional large accounts (EPCs and General Contractors) to assist them in creating a digital twin for Hilti's portfolio of products in their selected plant design software.

You will be based in a regional Project Management Office, acting as a technical support specialist to our sales team for large project acquisitions, and as a Plant Design Administrator in executing and supporting large global projects. You will collaborate with a global team to ensure both short-term and long-term readiness of solutions.

What does the role involve?
  • Aligning with the PMO Head within the region and the Global Plant Design Business Owner on project pipeline priorities.
  • Supporting Construction Project Managers and Business Developers during project acquisition by explaining and demonstrating our plant design offerings (3D catalogues/libraries and Smart Plug-ins) tailored to account requirements.
  • Partnering with customer’s Plant Design Administrators and Model Automation Leads to ensure necessary testing of our solutions and catalogue maintenance.
  • Leading the setup of libraries and plug-ins for Hilti and Oglaend Modular supports, Firestop, and Cable Management solutions.
  • Serving as the main contact for installation challenges and troubleshooting software conflicts.
  • Training customer modelers and designers on library and plug-in usage.
  • Creating custom assemblies for project or account-specific solutions.
  • Training sales and business development teams internally on plant design solutions.
  • Documenting all customer-facing activities in Salesforce and Clickup.
  • Gathering customer feedback on our offerings and identifying opportunities for improvements.
  • Collaborating with the Development team to test libraries and document feature requests in Jira.
  • Supporting business development in sharing best practices and success stories.
What you need is:
  • A degree in Engineering or an equivalent IT diploma.
  • Experience with EPC, Engineering Consulting, Contractors, and industry projects preferred.
  • Proven experience in engineering systems administration (Aveva PDMS/E3D, Integraph SP3D, Bentley, Autodesk P3D).
  • Good understanding of engineering practices and project execution concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering design, drafting applications, and data integration software.
  • Fluent in Portuguese, advanced in English, intermediate in Spanish.
  • Availability for 15-20% international business travel.
