We are seeking an experienced, tech-savvy, and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for conducting market research and prospecting new business opportunities worldwide but with a focus on LATAM and targeted accounts. Your role will involve utilizing technology tools, building relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the expansion of Optibus in the region assigned, all while embodying the principles of the SPICED framework and the Bowtie Model.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential prospects in the region assigned, understanding their Situation and Pain points.
- Engage in proactive outreach to initiate contact, build relationships and book meetings with key stakeholders in target organizations.
- Ability to prepare and conduct initial engagement meetings with a clear agenda, focused on asking insightful questions and actively listening to understand the prospects' Situation and Pain points as per SPICED, if needed. Summarize and empathize with the prospects' needs, and effectively schedule follow-up meetings with the Sales team to further explore solutions.
- Facilitate a smooth handover of qualified meetings to the sales team, ensuring all relevant information regarding the prospect's Situation and Pain points is accurately communicated.
- Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and other relevant teams to develop account plans and execute sales development initiatives, ensuring a unified understanding and approach.
- Utilize CRM tools and prospecting tools like Salesforce, Outreach and Leadlander to generate leads, manage customer information, track progress, and ensure effective follow-up, aligning with our customer-centric approach.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the company's presence and foster valuable partnerships, engaging with potential and existing customers throughout their journey.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving business growth.
- Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish and English
- Strong analytical and research skills to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitor analysis.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel within the region assigned as needed and to work on different timelines. We are a global company and we are working on all continents.
