SABIS® schools implement the proven, proprietary SABIS® Educational System, which has been developed and refined for over 135 years.All students in the SABIS® Network benefit from a long tradition of excellence in education, a reputation that is rooted in a well-developed philosophy that seeks to provide students with a top-quality education that prepares them to meet the challenges of a changing world.Job PurposeEnsuring that the school campus and facilities are well maintained in a manner that allows students to benefit from the state-of-the-art campus and the full range of a SABIS® education.Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing the operations and maintenance of all plant, equipment, & campus buildings- Monitoring the maintenance of all functional building systems relating to campus utilities; ensuring minimization of disruptions to the running of the campus facilities arising from maintenance incidents- Managing operations of the Security, Cleaning and Gardening Team- Producing periodic utility reports on a timely basis- Conducting daily inspections of the property to ensure security of the assets; maintaining a log of any preventive maintenance, health, safety and security incidents- Ensuring grounds and exterior areas are well maintained- Reporting any faults or damages to school management- Ensuring that all building management equipment is operating within defined performance level expectations and overseeing service level agreements with third parties- Planning, organizing, and overseeing the implementation of planned preventative maintenance, routine maintenance and any special projects within budget and agreed upon KPI’s- Fostering good working relationships with statutory regulators to ensure timely compliance with regulation at all times- Ensuring that all visitors, staff, and outsourced personnel are adequately instructed in environmental health, safety, and welfare whilst within the campus; responding adequately to emergencies or urgent issues arising- Overseeing the implementation of Solid Waste Management- Performing other tasks as assigned by the School ManagementIdeal Requirements:- Bachelor degree in related field (Facilities Management / Engineering)- English Proficient- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and/or property management, with a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity.- Accountability and Taking Ownership- Professional Behavior and Ethical Conduct- Delivering Results- Continuous Learning and Improvement- Managing Others & Performance- Communication- Flexibility & Adaptability- Managing Projects- Problem Solving & Decision Making- Coaching & Developing Others- Supporting & Managing ChangeAbility to Relocate:- Campinas - SP: Relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
