This Position reports to : Sales Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective (business area / division / product group) sales strategy within the specified market scope (global / regional) and maintain it, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and / or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance. This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Sri Lanka. You will be mainly accountable for : To Sell Low voltage switchgears & products / systems / services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned divisions in Sri Lanka. Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full Low voltage switchgears & products / systems / services offering, and align to provide a solution. Prepares sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls. Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Qualifications for the role 5-12 years Similar field experience. Technical background Diploma / BE in Electronics / electrical. Ability to learn & adopt quickly on Techno-Commercial offer submission. Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and / or the Marketing Manager. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
