**ABOUT THE TEAM**:
VTEX Tax team is responsible for managing every aspect related to tax planning and compliance procedures, focusing on improving quality and efficiency of tax processes, as well as mitigating risks.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are looking for an International Tax Compliance Analyst to assist and support our Tax Team, with special focus in the US and European regions.
In this role you will:
- Deal with tax and accounting matters, ensuring compliance with local legislations, supported by external consultants;
- Liaise with different VTEX areas and external consultants to ensure efficient flows of information, review direct and indirect tax calculations and returns prepared by external consultants;
- Manage tax compliance deadlines and the flows above through the applicable digital platform;
- Register journal entries related to tax accounts and document the process according to SOx internal guidelines;
- Monitor tax accounts through frequent reconciliations;
- Keep up to date with tax developments, identifying changes in the requirements of each country and coordinating applicable changes to VTEX ́s processes;
**WHO YOU ARE**:
- You must be located in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo;
- You have a bachelor's degree in accounting or related areas;
- You are fluent/native in English and Portuguese, and have intermediary Spanish skills;
- You have 4+ years of professional experience (preferably at a Big 4 or mid to large sized multinational);
- You have solid knowledge of direct taxes and at least a high-level understanding of indirect taxes;
- You understand the concepts of journal entries and reconciliation of direct and indirect tax accounts (assets, liabilities, and P&L);
- You are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets;
- SAP experience is a differential;
- You have strong analytical skills, you are organized, proactive and self-motivated to work in an environment with great autonomy;
- You enjoy working with individuals from different academic, cultural and professional background;
