As part of this innovative team, you'll help ensure the quality and reliability of a product that leverages AI, big data, and cloud-native technologies to drive business transformation.This position is mostly remote with travel to our Campinas office 1-2 times a month.Picture Yourself At PegaAs a Senior Quality Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the quality strategy for our Process and Task Mining solutions. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure our features are robust, scalable, and deliver meaningful outcomes. You'll also help mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in test automation and continuous quality.What You'll Do At PegaDefine and implement test strategies for new and existing Process and Task Mining features.Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Playwright and Cucumber.Collaborate with DevOps and architecture teams to ensure test coverage across cloud-native components (e.G., Kubernetes, Docker, AWS).Lead root cause analysis for complex issues and drive resolution in collaboration with engineering and support teams.Contribute to performance and load testing using tools like JMeter to ensure scalability of analytics pipelines.Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.Share knowledge and mentor team members on testing frameworks, quality standards, and best practices.Who You AreA quality-focused engineer with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.Experienced in Agile/Scrum environments and comfortable working in cross-functional teams.Curious and proactive, with a strong desire to understand how Process and Task Mining differs from traditional enterprise products.Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems in a fast-paced, evolving product space.What You've Accomplished5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or lead role.Proven expertise in test automation frameworks and tools (e.G., Playwright and Cucumber).Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, and Gradle.Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration (e.G., AWS, Kubernetes, Helm).Exposure to big data technologies (e.G., Spark, NoSQL, Elasticsearch) is a plus.Experience testing analytics or data-intensive applications is highly desirable.Pega Offers YouA chance to work on cutting-edge analytics and automation products.A collaborative, inclusive, and flexible work environment.Continuous learning and career development opportunities.Competitive compensation, equity, and global benefits.Job ID:
