Why consider this job opportunity: Salary up to $22.00 per hour Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, along with HSA & FSA savings accounts 401(k) retirement plan with employer match and company-paid life insurance Opportunities for professional growth, including tuition reimbursement Supportive work environment with employee discounts Flexible remote work arrangement What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Ensure daily achievements align with company goals for cash collections and accounts receivable over 90 days Research and resolve outstanding balances promptly, making necessary demographic changes to patient accounts Resubmit accurate claims in various formats, including CMS-1500 and electronic 837 Negotiate payment plans with patients in accordance with company policies Communicate professionally with team members and third‑party collection agencies What is Required (Qualifications): High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus Minimum of one (1) year of experience in medical collections, with knowledge of managed care, commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement Familiarity with automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong verbal and written communication skills How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Experience in home infusion therapy collections Working knowledge of ICD‑9, CPT, and HCPCS coding Ability to type 40 wpm and proficiency with a 10‑key calculator We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
