IT Infrastructure Solutions Specialist
MISSION
A global role that aims at delivering best of the breed IT Infrastructure solutions to internal business requirements.
A member in the team that leads deliverables from end-to-end, you are involved at all levels in the project architecture, project analysis, project procurement, project planning, project execution, project technical review and knowledge transfer to the operations teams.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Project Delivery
- Actively engage in project planning and prioritization with Senior Manager
- Lead the team in planning and setting user story deliverables.
- Design and develop new IT solutions in collaboration with the team.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient project delivery and solution design.
- Clarify project requirements to satisfy customers' needs and expectations.
- Deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Ensure proper handover of project delivery to other teams (when applicable);
- Identify IT risks as the work and list them in a centralized repository.
- Conduct project retrospectives and drive continuous improvement.
Process Improvement
- Identify and prioritize IT process improvements.
- Take the ownership and leading role in Process Feedback and Process Improvement during Scrum, Gemba, Sprint Retro meetings, etc.
- Challenge and be an instrument of new process implementation and sustainability
- Actively identify risks related to projects and form device remediation plans.
Skills Development
- Identify and develop new soft and technical skills to reinforce the ability to design various IT solutions, enlarge his/her expertise and teamwork abilities in a scrum development approach; for self and for the team.
- Actively share his/her expertise to enhance the skills of other members.
EXTERNAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university/Institute;
- Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience with at least 5 -7 Years of experience in IT Infrastructure Operations;
- Professional vendor specific certifications such as: CCNA, PCNSA, MCP, VCP, AWS, Linux certification etc. is considered as an asset;
- Hands on experience in either Windows Server OS or Linux platforms;
- Exposure in VMware and in managing enterprise network (LAN /WAN /SDWAN);
- Hands on experience to Exchange, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO and in configuring and management of firewalls;
- Hands on experience to Physical Server, SAN / NAS technologies;
- Working knowledge to backup & DR technologies (Veeam, Backup Exec) and in troubleshooting controller-based Wi-Fi technologies;
- Working experience in Citrix environments;
- Analytical and creative problem-solving approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Your experience in working in an Agile / Lean environment would be an asset.
