**The LATAM Data Governance Officer is looking for a Data Governance Lead who should have the utmost understanding of the data used and produced by the business - its data sources, lineage, flows and repositories and will manage the implementation of Data Governance Program across Brazil.**

**Responsibilities**:
- Able to manage data through its lifecycle from creation, through use and ultimately retirement
- Evaluate processes for gaps, inefficiencies and additional opportunities; provide and implement recommendations for improvement. Work closely with business data owners and users to identify quality metrics and thresholds. Own and publish reports related to quality metrics along with root cause analysis and mitigation options to the end user community
- Participate in the development of policies, guidelines, and quality control procedures for the reporting and dissemination organization’s performance related data.
- Implement and assure adherence to data management policies and standards.
- Define and execute processes to monitor data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and privacy, establish consistent data definitions, and monitor overall data quality for assigned data entities
- Participate in the development of process to ensure data quality standards are met
- Knowledgeable of regulations and policies both internal and external to the company which leads to defensible data management processes
- Coordinate with Data Stakeholders to assure that priorities of data stewards and stakeholders are in sync
- Management of data governance programs, principles, policy, practices and standards including industry best practices.
- Establishing a governance process to oversee implementation activities and ensure ongoing alignment to the defined architecture
- Drive progress for continued development of enterprise-wide guiding principles, policies, processes and practices.
- Measuring Policy adherence and remedial action associated with Policy adherence.
- Manage relationships with business and Global Functions leaders efforts to drive data quality agenda progress.
- Prepare materials for Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs), Portfolio Reviews, Horizontal meetings, Town Halls and Staff Meetings
- Perform analysis of Data Quality issues and deliver metrics reporting
- Support Managers with status reports and presentation content. Guide data analysis and reporting processes that include collection from multiple sources, validation of data and assembly and presentation of required data.
**Qualifications**:
- 6-10 years Banking or Financial Services Experience, Project Management experience
- Advanced Project management methodologies and tools experience
- Excellent communications skills
- Demonstrated facility to interact and work effectively with diverse teams
- Ability to lead projects with multiple counterparts across organizations
- Ability to work under pressure, facilitate discussions and conduct group meetings
