Responsibilities
  • Unload/load trailers, verify proper stacking and freight handling, and secure pallets.
  • Count and inspect shipments for damage, infestation, and proper coding; report discrepancies.
  • Identify and report damages, shortages, and overages.
  • Assist with inventory using scanners, ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Pick and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Load products into railcars or trailers.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely, perform daily inspections, and report issues.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience with high reach forklifts and warehouse operations preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs with assistance occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and handle objects for extended periods.
  • Proficiency with scanners, tablets, radios, and warehouse machinery.
  • Ability to work overtime and drive a registered vehicle as needed.
  • Good vision, communication skills, and ability to follow instructions.
