Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board Why you'll love this job Develop, promote and directly manage a territory of current and new corporate accounts and travel agencies, focusing on revenue growth and market share increase based on projects, data analysis, and sales activities, including phone calls, emails, and face‑to‑face meetings, with an emphasis on high‑value partners. This job is a member of the Sales Team within the Sales Division. What You'll Do As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non‑essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations. Develops and executes value‑based sales strategies to position American Airlines as the preferred airline supplier for customers. Analyzes data and develops focus strategies to increase revenue/passenger share and improve revenue quality. Analyzes customer needs through telephone and in‑person sales calls, meeting those needs with support, existing programs, or customer‑specific solutions. Coordinates, supports and implements programs with the appropriate field and staff departments. Prepares correspondence, proposals, and presentations to support sales activities. Some travel is required and participation as in sponsored events representing American Airlines for client entertainment. Gains consensus and commitment from stakeholders at various levels across multiple organizations. Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training. 3 years successful sales experience. Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience Airline or business‑to‑business sales experience. Skills, Licenses & Certifications Ability to interact with various levels of management throughout American Airlines and in the corporate business and travel agencies environment. Ability to communicate to high level executives. Understanding and execution of value‑based selling required. Proven leadership and analytical skills. Ability to operate in a highly competitive, demanding environment and must possess drive and enthusiasm.
