The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting Global Security's mission of protecting J&J employees, contractors, global travelers, facilities, and assets.Reporting to the Regional Security Director Latam, with program oversight by the Senior Director of Intelligence and Investigations, this Regional Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting on current and emerging threats to drive and manage awareness and risk mitigation strategies with a particular emphasis in LATAM region. The role will have a strategic, operational and tactical focus requiring the production of a wide range of estimative, explanatory and quantitative analysis and briefings. Of equal importance, the selectee will be required to provide intelligence-related support to corporate security investigations and serve as a master user of the case management database. A highly qualified candidate will have strong research, analysis and communications skills and be technologically proficient.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Intelligence support to Regional Security Directors and Managers, as well as Global/Regional/Local Operations Centers. Develop, track, and prepare quantitative reports to include, but not limited to Key Performance Indicators and threat trends. Within the assigned region, lead, produce, and edit written analytical reports, to include travel risk assessments in support of executives' travel. Conduct research using open source, subscription, and security-related services to monitor, forecast, and assess current and emerging threats focused in the assigned region. Maintain effective cross-functional relationships with key internal security partners/stakeholders, particularly during crisis events. Build and leverage relationships with external peers from the public and private sectors. QualificationsEducation:A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. A Master's degree (Areas of Study: Political Science, International Relations/Affairs, Intelligence, Criminal Justice) is preferred. Experience And SkillsRequired:A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience. Proficiency languages in English, Portugues and Spanish are required. Two years of experience serving in an intelligence-related capacity. Formalized intelligence training on tradecraft and analytic techniques. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Strong ability to collect, synthesize, and evaluate large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data and draw logical conclusions. Ability to work collaboratively and independently, including leading high-visibility tasks. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to work a flexible schedule, particularly during crisis periods. Experience briefing senior management/executive leaders. PreferredExperience working in the government and/or private sector in an intelligence related capacity. Previous experience using advanced data analytics software and/or geospatial technologies, like Power BI, I2, and/or ArcGIS. Understanding of physical security practices, principles and risk management. Experience working in an intelligence fusion cell or command center environment. OtherThis position requires in-office presence 4 days per week. This position will be based Sao Paulo, Brazil. May require up to 10% travel domestic/international.
