The Payments & Fraud Team Leader leads a team of specialists dedicated to monitoring payment transactions and identifying potential fraud. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our operations and ensuring a high standard of service for our customers.

Responsibilities
  1. Overseeing payment processing functions, such as handling transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring regulatory and industry compliance.
  2. Monitoring and analyzing payment transactions to detect potential fraud and unusual activity.
  3. Conducting risk assessments on payment activities and implementing strategies to mitigate fraud-related risks.
  4. Applying fraud detection tools and methodologies to spot suspicious trends or behaviors, investigating promptly and escalating any potential issues as needed.
  5. Addressing payment discrepancies, managing chargebacks, and working with both internal teams and external partners to resolve disputes effectively.
  6. Monitoring system and automation performance to ensure operational efficiency.
  7. Collaborating with Customer Service teams to resolve payment issues and respond to customer inquiries efficiently.
  8. Staying informed on regulatory updates and best practices in payments and fraud prevention to ensure compliance.
  9. Partnering with Technology teams to optimize and continuously improve existing workflows.
  10. Engaging with external payment providers and financial institutions to enhance payment processes and reduce fraud risks.
Ideal Profile
  1. Proven experience in payment processing or fraud detection, ideally within online gaming, betting, or a similar sector.
  2. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  3. Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
  4. Knowledge of sportsbook and casino products.
  5. Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for identifying fraudulent activity within complex data.
  6. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards within the i-Gaming industry.
  7. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and cultures.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  10. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  11. Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding operational integrity.
