Data Solution Architect

**Key job responsibilities**
- Guide our development teams by setting technical directions and providing standards, architectural governance, design patterns, and practices
- Define system architectures and guide engineering teams on architectural and development best practices
- Conduct POCs with various technologies, tools, and platforms in order to find the best solutions from a technological, operational, and business perspective
- Educate and support development teams to help them resolve complex issues
- Interact extensively with technology and business stakeholders in the company
- Interact with users and stakeholders directly to understand the business problem and help guide them in their requirements
**Essentials**
- English (fluent)
- 10+ years of Big Data/database and/or analytics design and development, and/or IT and networking implementation/consulting experience
- Profficiancy with big data technologies handling large data sets, databases, and cloud-based storage.
- Proven experience with Azure platform data services
- Azure SQL DB, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks
- Proficiency with Azure Databricks and Azure data factory
- 4+ years of technical management experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a technical management role at a user-facing or consulting organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively across internal and external teams are necessary.
- Presentation skills, including formal presentations, whiteboarding, and large and small group presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics/statistics, computer engineering, or related technical discipline.
