General Summary: About the Role: We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Field Application Engineer (FAE) with a strong background in Compute technology to join our team in São Paulo. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor and customer advocate, helping partners and clients unlock the full potential of advanced computing platforms, including CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, AI accelerators, and heterogeneous systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support the evaluation, integration, and optimization of compute solutions, ensuring seamless deployment and top-tier performance across a variety of applications. What You’ll Do: Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to understand customer needs and deliver tailored compute solutions. Provide hands‑on technical support for compute hardware and software, including troubleshooting, benchmarking, and performance tuning. Guide customers through the evaluation and integration of platforms such as SoCs, AI/ML accelerators, and server‑grade CPUs/GPUs/NPUs. Lead product demos, technical workshops, and training sessions to showcase compute technologies and best practices. Support customers in profiling, debugging, and optimizing applications for target platforms. Collect and share customer feedback to help shape product roadmaps and drive continuous improvement. Create and maintain technical documentation, application notes, and reference designs. Stay up to date with the latest trends in high-performance computing, AI/ML, and edge/cloud architectures. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of compute architectures (CPU, GPU, NPU, FPGA, etc.) and supporting software stacks (drivers, libraries, frameworks). Practical experience with performance profiling tools, benchmarking methodologies, and debugging techniques. Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), parallel programming (OpenCL, CUDA), and system-level integration. Excellent communication skills and a customer‑first mindset. Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events. Key Skills: Analytical and problem‑solving expertise in compute environments. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience with hardware/software co‑design and performance optimization.
