About World Business Lenders ( World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding. WBL services its loan portfolio and loan portfolios for third parties, specializing in the management of non-performing loan pools and REO. WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce. This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. Resumes must be submitted in English. Location100% Remote for Turkey, LATAM and India RequirementsLaw degree from a nationally accredited U.S. law school. 6-10 years of experience practicing law within a law firm; in-house experience is a plus. 5-10 years of regulatory and compliance experience within the residential mortgage banking industry across the United States. Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to residential and commercial mortgage lending as well as corporate governance. Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, supported by advanced legal research and writing skills. Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, demonstrating sound business judgment and effective problem-solving skills. Exceptional command of English, both written and verbal. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with keen attention to detail and strong follow-through. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. Highly proactive and resourceful, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and departments. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications. Valid U.S. visa required.
