Overview

Python Engineering Team Lead - Backend/Data Focus - Remote - Latin America. Join our talent network to connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as a Python Engineering Team Lead. You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Integrate directly into the client’s team and collaborate daily with their designers and engineers.
  • Lead engineering work to develop new features for scalable ML/AI solutions.
  • Create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
  • Identify and address complex technical issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a manager with strong leadership skills.
  • Advanced English is required.
  • Four-year college degree required.
  • Fluent in Python programming language.
  • Experience with JavaScript, JS Frameworks (React, Angular, etc.), and RESTful web services.
  • Experience in coding, testing, and software development with the ability to write effective unit, system, and integration tests.
  • Background in leading engineering teams to develop new features for scalable ML/AI solutions.
  • Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
  • Ability to create and maintain CI/CD of applications.
  • Attention to detail and a positive, proactive mindset.
  • Experience on Agile/Scrum teams and in delivering on large, complex systems.
  • Ability to take ownership of your work and align with client goals.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
