Purchasing Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree holder
• At least 10-15 years experience in commodity
• At least 5 years experience in the steel industry
• Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
• Can monitor inventory/asset management with 5S compliance
• Experience in data and market research
• Experience in sales and marketing
• Critical thinking, leadership, data management, organizing, and planning skills
• Strong leadership skills

DUTIES:

1. Country Head Leadership, Supervision and Ownership:
   Engage and drive the commodity team to achieve group/company directives and budget performance. Monitor inventory/asset management to ensure products and data are correct, accurate, and compliant with 5S standards. Responsible for structuring the commodity team to ensure smooth operations and statutory compliance. Drive the commercial team to achieve significant market positioning in the local country. Provide training and guidance to ensure all staff have the right competencies to perform as per their job descriptions.
2. Build & Maintain Customer Rapport:
   Engage customers, both new and old, regularly by organizing informal gatherings for sports, meals, or other social meetings, and formal visits and calls to share updates or initiate promotion proposals to the commercial director.
3. Payment Collection and Legal:
   Provide company-prepared contracts/terms and conditions for sale to customers for their signing. Engage the credit control department in situations where clients are uncooperative with payments for sales/leasing projects.
4. Data Input and Market Research:
   Keep records on regional market accepted standards for foundation steel (especially sheet piles) to improve understanding of the product. Ensure the commercial team updates and maintains information within the company’s CRM “P3” database weekly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month
