This leader is responsible for secure commercial introduction of innovation and new technologies for locomotive platform in line with Wabtec´s strategy and sustainability goals. This role will work together with customer, sales and internal engineering team in order to identify clear customer CTQs, create product to address those CTQs and differentiate the product from competition in the market.How will you make a difference?The manager The Product Manager shall demonstrate excellent product & project management skills, be able to interact professionally with variety of global stakeholders (Wabtec senior management, key partners and major customers) and feel very comfortable in holding presentations to leadership members, at customer, conferences and government meetings. It shall be passionate about technologies in transportation/automation/energy domains and will be responsible to track industry trends to keep our product ahead of curve.What do we want to know about you?Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering, Technology & Computer Science from an accredited university or college- Solid professional experience working on industry and/or product manager (focus on product/project development, cost, and customer needs)- Strong customer mindset and ability to understand commercial and product strategy- Identifies and explores alternative solutions. Effectively transitions the customers’ requirements into the product solution creation and the action.- Language: fluent English and understanding of Spanish- Emotional Intelligence, ability to influence up and out and the ability to work independently- Pushes self for results; pushes others for results through team spirit and exhibiting role model behavior- Ability to drive teammates with various background and level of seniority, and geographically distributed- Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem-solving abilities, result-focused with ability to work under strong pressure while being highly organized- Ability to structure complex information, plan, prioritize, delegate tasks and focus on deliverables- Willingness & readiness to travel in relation to work activitiesDesired Characteristics:- Know local RailRoad in Latam and experience in Rail business segment- Experience on New Product development and innovation projects solutions- Experience at working on matrix organization- Creativity, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent analytical abilitiesBusiness Acumen:- Skilled in breaking down problems and estimating efforts- Has the ability to propose, analyze impact and recommend appropriate technology trade-offs- Demonstrates awareness of the competitive environment and its impact on the product- Passionate by technology and innovations, driven by technical & commercial disruptive challengesWhat will your typical day look like?- Architect next-generation locomotive platforms that redefine industry sustainability standards- Translate complex market insights into environmentally advanced technological solutions- Articulate compelling narratives of technological and environmental transformation- Work with cross-functional (sales, customer, process, engineering) teams to develop new products with differentiated value proposition- Demonstrate ability to influence customers through credible knowledge and experience, persuasion and influencing skills- Work closely with Product Managers, Commercial team, Supply Chain and different Wabtec business to come up with a comprehensive product development strategyRelocation assistance may be provided if eligibility requirements are met.BenefíciosNa Wabtec, pessoas estão em primeiro lugar.
