Senior Commodity Operations Lead – Power Join Macquarie’s Commodity Operations group as a Senior Commodity Operations Lead in our São Paulo office. The Operations Division supports trade validation and settlement for a variety of financial and physical products in a time‑sensitive environment where accuracy, timely escalation and communication are essential. Responsibilities Provide essential support services to our Brazil Power trading business, including trade verification, confirmation, invoicing and settlement services, treasury activities, regulatory reporting and reconciliations. Lead a small team and engage collaboratively with Trading, Scheduling, Legal, Compliance, Finance/Tax, Technology, Risk Management and other stakeholder groups. Create sustainable and innovative solutions to address business issues and continuous improvement needs. Qualifications A minimum of 3–6 years’ relevant experience in the Energy sector, focusing on Power markets. Highly motivated, confident and professional with strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A strategic mindset and strong technical skills with the ability to simplify complex situations.
