Responsibilities

  • Act as a regional expert, providing technical knowledge and best practices in the steel sector.
  • Support sales by identifying opportunities, understanding client challenges, and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Develop customized technical solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to configure solutions, including technical, commercial, and contractual aspects.
  • Represent Yokogawa at industry events, strengthening our network and brand.
  • Maintain CRM data accuracy and prepare sales reports and forecasts.
  • Conduct application tests and client training specific to the steel industry.

Requirements

  • Degree in Metallurgical, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in technical or consultative sales within the steel industry.
  • Knowledge of steel processes such as rolling, casting, heat treatment, automation, and control.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong relationship-building and active listening skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in multicultural environments.
  • Strategic thinking and customer focus.
  • Proactive, autonomous project leadership.

Languages

  • Advanced English (mandatory).
  • Spanish is a plus.
