Position brief

We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Senior Accounting Specialist to support our finance operations in Brazil. As part of a fast-growing startup, you will oversee all accounting activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and cash flow management.

Your responsibilities

  • Complete daily accounting operations and monthly closing tasks as per headquarters requirements.
  • Verify and check account receivables and payables transactions.
  • Follow up on monthly closing, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of closing tasks.
  • Assist in preparing local financial statements in accordance with local standards and regulations, and support annual audits.
  • Revise accounting policies based on CAS and IFRS, and assist in developing and optimizing the financial IT platform to improve work quality and efficiency.
  • Perform other financial tasks as required by various projects.

Requirement for the position

  • 3-5 years of accounting experience with solid knowledge and financial analysis skills; manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in accounting or related fields.
  • Local candidates with good English communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in office software; familiarity with ERP (Oracle) systems is a plus.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and professionally proficient in English (Mandarin is a plus).
  • Experience in early-stage companies in Brazil (stage 0→1), especially during rapid expansion, is a plus.
