Summary
As an Accounting Specialist - General Ledger & Accounts Payable within the Brazil team, you will play a key role in providing accounting services to our Teradata organizations in the region. Working with the local manager and other team members, you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely accounting information to global teams, monitoring payments, expenses and work on reconciliations. This will often involve close collaboration with other specialized departments as well as become a trusted advisor for employees in terms of expenses reports, internal guidelines and other accounting inquiries
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for Payment process (Abroad) and Payroll (Locally)
Tax payments
Bank reconciliation and accounting reconciliation (General Ledger)
Processing and conference for the supplier's invoices
Issue the purchase orders to suppliers in the ORACLE system
Conference and approval of expenses report
Analyze the variation of expenses
Payments reports
Relationship with suppliers and banks
**Requirements**:
Upper intermediate to Advanced English
At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and related activities
Degree in Accounting, Business or Economics
Soft skills
Team player
Organization and planning
Focused
Able to create good long term relationships with other peers, teams and internal customers on different levels in the organization
Detail and results oriented
Proactive
Good communication skills
Ager to learn
