We are searching for the best talent for **APPIAN LEAD DEVELOPER **to join our J&J Technology team to be located in **LATAM.**
We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer who must have a deep understanding of the Appian platform, strong technical skills, and experience leading a developers team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Own the development and delivery of Appian-based solutions, ensuring they meet the requirements and are delivered within the expectations of the business area.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and partners to capture requirements, develop solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure the team's success.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Appian-based solutions, including process models, integrations, and user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain user documentation and design artifacts to support project delivery and ongoing maintenance.
- Work with partners to understand their business processes and requirements, and provide mentorship on gold standard for bringing to bear the Appian platform.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest Appian releases, features, and capabilities, and proactively find opportunities to use new functionality to improve our solutions.
- Ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable, and adhere to the best approaches and industry standards.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience defining and delivering solutions on the Appian platform, experience managing a team of developers is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, code quality, and testing methodologies
- Experience with database technologies, including SQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure, is a plus.
**Required knowledge**:
Strong technical skills in Appian, including:
- Process model design and development
- Integration development, including REST/SOAP web services and RPA
- User interface design and development using Appian SAIL
- Appian architecture and administration, including deployment and configuration of Appian environments
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- English Advanced is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
