Job Title: Nuclear AI Specialist About the Role: We are seeking an expert in generative AI to join our team and help us transform nuclear operations through innovative solutions. As a Nuclear AI Specialist, you will work with our cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications that enhance safety, efficiency, and compliance. Responsibilities: Design and develop generative AI solutions for nuclear operations, including large language models, document generation, and intelligent automation systems. Collaborate with nuclear engineers, operations personnel, and subject matter experts to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements in safety, efficiency, and compliance. Better yourself knowledge management using prompt engineering strategies and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems. Implement robust testing, validation, and monitoring frameworks for AI models in high-stakes environments. Create and maintain documentation for AI models, algorithms, and deployment processes. Stay current with emerging AI technologies and evaluate their applicability to nuclear operations. Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions with existing nuclear systems and workflows. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with focus on generative AI technologies. Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain). Experience with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering. Understanding of NLP, transformer architectures, and foundation models. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps practices. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for nuclear facility access.
