More About This Role

MDS (Mondelez Digital Services) S4 Hana/O9 Deploy Lead oversees and guides the technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves leading technical teams, managing project plans, facilitating communication, and mitigating risks. They also play a crucial role in translating business requirements into technical solutions and ensuring alignment with overall project goals. It bridges the gap between technical teams and business objectives, ensuring successful delivery of technical projects while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

• Job Overview: Purpose : To lead and manage the successful deployment of SAP S/4HANA solutions within Mondelez Brazil. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all activities related to S/4HANA implementation at BU level, ensuring alignment with business objectives and minimizing disruption to operations.
• Scope : The Deployment Lead is responsible for the end-to-end BU deployment lifecycle, including (but not limited to):
  • Brazil Project Planning and preparation
  • Testing support (unit, integration, user acceptance)
  • Assist hypercare support
  Reports To: MDS (Mondelez Digital Services) Brazil BU Lead

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Leadership: providing technical leadership and direction to project teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Technical Oversight: ensuring the technical feasibility of solutions and overseeing the quality of technical deliverables.
• Deployment Planning & Strategy: develop and maintain a comprehensive S/4HANA deployment plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies; collaborate with stakeholders to ensure deployment aligned with business and technical cut-over and success criteria.
• Team Leadership & Coordination: lead and manage a team of functional and technical consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and communication; assign tasks, provide guidance, monitor progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, escalate issues as needed; work with MDS BU Lead and S/$/O9 Program to ensure alignment, execution and BU project tech deliverables.
• Execution & Monitoring: oversee the deployment activities, monitor progress, identify delays, implement corrective actions, manage deployment risks and issues; work with data owners and technical teams to define data migration strategies and procedures.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: supervise testing plans with business and S4/o9 program to ensure quality and stability; coordinate UAT and address issues.
• Training & Change Management: collaborate with change management to develop and deliver end-user training; support the change management process for smooth adoption of S/4HANA.
• Risk Management
• Go-Live & Hypercare: plan and execute go-live and provide hypercare support at BU level and filter to the program.
• Stakeholder Management: maintain effective communication with stakeholders, provide regular updates on deployment progress, risks, and issues.
• Vendor Management: manage relationships with vendors and external partners as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in technical project management SAP ERP and others; more than five years in ERP implementation projects with a focus on S/4HANA deployments; proven experience leading SAP deployment teams; experience with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing ERP modules; experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills; strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work in a team; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities; strong senior stakeholder management skills.
