The role of the Marketing and Commercial Excellence Leader is to provide strategic and operational leadership to primarily the Power Systems business, and to other key areas such as EcoStruxure Power Edge Control and Energy Automation. This position sits on the zone marketing leadership team and the zone Power Systems leadership team, and drives the current and future strategy for the systems business in the region to support a transition toward a green energy landscape.

What will you do?
  • Strategy and transformation of Power Systems: Develop with the Power Systems leadership team the long-term business strategy and drive cultural transformation based on an added-value mindset, focusing on growth through Services, Digital and Software attached to Power Systems, for both solutions and transactional approaches. Co-responsible for communicating and implementing the strategy throughout the SAM region.
  • Offer Marketing leadership: Directly lead a team of Offer Managers across SAM countries, ensuring competitiveness of each offer/solution, growing market share, and supporting local teams to define pricing and applications per country (regional thinking, local execution), with emphasis on digital, service and software content.
  • Commercial Excellence leadership: Ensure communication and systematic application of Power Systems commercial policies across the region, raise maturity, reduce bureaucracy, provide trainings, monitor pipeline quality and growth per country/segment, and drive highest competitiveness and organized business growth.
  • Offer Innovation: Ensure the SAM business has the right offers for the market, collaborate with R&D to improve competitiveness, and provide ROI insights on marketing investments and innovations.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Lead core marketing processes for systems, including AMSP/AMR, Pricing for transactional offers, offer lifecycle management, and reporting.
  • Communications for Power Systems: Collaborate with Marcom Partner and Digital Marketing to deliver an annual plan for thought leadership and communications to drive growth, cover appropriate channels and segments, and monitor impact and innovation in techniques.
  • Interface with global BU/LoB teams: Lead communications with the Power Systems Business Unit, run quarterly meetings, and articulate local strategy and plans.
  • Leadership: Build and sustain a high-performing team with a culture of commercial ownership, provide development plans and competency mapping, recruit and coach staff.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Solid energy industry experience (sales and/or project) with customer-facing roles and marketing
  • Experience managing teams and developing people to high performance
  • Local deployment of global strategy, setting priorities, communicating, driving and inspiring local teams for sustainable results
  • Knowledge of key customers/segments and critical business requirements
  • Broad understanding of local competition, from specialists to large global firms
  • Strong internal network and experience managing relationships in a matrix environment
  • Product/offer marketing, positioning, and understanding of marketing plans
  • Commercial pipelining and strategy
  • English mandatory; Spanish or Portuguese speakers desirable
