Summary We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the future of technology services for Property & Casualty (P&C) carriers. This is a customer-facing role focused on implementing AI-powered solutions and configuring our platform with Python, MySQL and automation tools. You’ll translate business needs into technical outcomes, ensuring our AI-enhanced systems deliver performance, reliability, and impact. This is a fully remote-based role; candidates must be located in Argentina or Brazil. This is a long-term Independent Contractor position. Please submit your resume in English. What You’ll Do Work directly with customers to understand business needs and translate them into AI-enhanced technical solutions Configure and extend our platform using Python, MySQL and AI APIs to deliver intelligent functionality Partner with product management to launch secure, user-friendly features that integrate automation, predictive analytics and natural language capabilities Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI-driven requirements, manage expectations and drive on-time delivery Thrive in an Agile environment with Scrum, automated testing, continuous integration, code reviews and version control Deliver projects on time based on the defined Statement of Work and communicate progress effectively with customers Own the creation and maintenance of validation tests focused on ensuring accuracy and integrity of AI-powered workflows Leverage AI throughout the implementation process to optimize workflows and improve customer outcomes What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field 5+ years of experience in Python web development 3+ years of SaaS product development experience, including cloud-based solutions 3+ years of professional experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) 3+ years of experience with Django or another Python framework 2+ years of proven experience building and consuming APIs Hands-on experience using AI-enhanced IDEs (e.g., Cursor, VS Code) to accelerate delivery and problem solving Experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., AutoGen, LangGraph, CrewAI) Professional experience with Docker and AWS services such as EC2, API Gateway and Lambda Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bonus points 2+ years of experience at a scaling startup Experience in a customer-facing role Life at BriteCore We take pride in our dynamic, diverse team, united by shared values of community, integrity, grit and impact.
