Responsibilities Power BI Development Design, develop and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards. Create visualizations, interactive reports, and data model that provide actionable insights. Data Integration Extract, Transform and load (ETL) data from various data sources (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, etc.) into Power BI. Collaboration with data engineers to ensure data quality and accuracy in Power BI reports may be required. Develop and maintain Power BI datasets and dataflows. Data Modelling Create and optimize data model that support business intelligence requirements. Design and implement calculated columns, measure and DAX queries. Ensure data models are scalable and performant. Collaboration and Communication Work closely with business analysts, data engineers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Provide training and support to end users on Power BI tools and dashboards. Document BI solutions, including data models, DAX queries and report specifications. Continuous Improvement Stay current with the latest Power BI features, best practices and industry trends. Continuously enhance existing Power BI solutions to improve performance and user experience. Identify and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in BI development with at least 3 years specifically focused on Power BI. Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service and Power Query. Strong knowledge of data integration and ETL processes. Experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL). Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is an added bonus. Soft Skills Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Power BI certification. Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.). Experience with advanced analytics. Experience with Azure services. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely. #J-18808-Ljbffr
