Turbine System Integrator

Overview The Turbine System Integrator will be responsible for the technical execution of turbine design for the hydroelectric industry. The professional will be responsible for the technical coordination between the engineering disciplines working on the turbine design and its associated systems. He/She will also be primary communication link between the engineering design teams, the project execution team and the project office. Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions Include Be the technical interface between the design engineering team working on turbine product and the Engineering Project Manager. Analyze and coordinate the technical contract requirements with the customer and product design team. Plan and manage coordination meetings with the design engineers assigned to the turbine product. Manage engineering schedule and align technical decisions to ensure compliance with the delivery deadlines, quality, and cost. Coordinate collection of technical feedback from projects and related mitigation plans with the support of design engineers. Manage project budget, related margin movement and technical opportunities for the design engineering team associated with turbine product. Support the site teams during the installation and commissioning of hydro turbine units. Provide work packages to each design engineering discipline for the project including client requirements, interfaces, planning, performance, reliability, and budget. Manage the technical documentation related to turbine product. Be the technical single point of contact to the customer for the turbine product including piloting the definition of interfaces and resolution of technical roadblocks (managing clarifications and customer comments). Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. Experience in Hydro industry. Knowledge in mechanical design. Relevant experience in engineering project management. Experience in customer relationship management. Fluent in English and Portuguese; French is a plus. Ability to travel occasionally within Brazil or North America. Preferred Qualifications / Characteristics Member of an applicable professional engineering association at place of residence. Certification in project management is a plus. Leadership, pro-activeness, sense of urgency, autonomy; ability to interact with functions. Strong analytical & critical thinking skills; strong communication skills. Ability to manage multitasking in a multicultural and global environment. Continuous improvement mindset.
