In the dynamic landscape of investment firms, our Client and Managed Services team provides critical middle office support to navigate increasing complexities in the market. Utilizing advanced, proprietary technologies, we empower clients to manage operations efficiently, ensuring high data quality and timely access to relevant information. This partnership model allows our clients to focus intensively on strategic growth areas by relying on FactSet's expert-driven service framework.
Your Team's Impact:
In this team, you'll work with advanced financial software, acting as a bridge between investment professionals and FactSet’s platform. You'll leverage your finance and technology knowledge to help clients enhance their research and analysis processes. As part of our dynamic team, you'll deliver excellent service and insights into the platform's functionality. You'll join the essential Services team that supports the company's Data and Software operations.
Role Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of the asset management sector, staying ahead of market trends to deliver strategic solutions.
- Participate in activities such as implementations, managed services, consultancy, and solution optimizations, focusing on understanding product functionalities and industry-specific principles and best practices. Work collaboratively with the middle and front office of our clients, including institutional asset managers, wealth managers, and asset owners.
- Resolve complex issues regarding client investment portfolios, financial data, analytics, and operational workflows.
- Show an aptitude for understanding and gathering requirements to efficiently meet client-specific business needs.
- Assist and support the execution of clients’ production processes and workflows.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource to other internal teams (e.g., Support, Sales) when needed.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including teams from Consulting, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Strategy, to drive success.
**Required Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related industry discipline.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of financial products and instruments.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial formulas.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking abilities, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to fostering a supportive team environment.
- Fluency in English, written and verbal.
Preferred Skills:
- Financial background in the Asset Management industry.
- Experience with Performance Measurement & Attribution or Risk Management.
- Knowledge of financial instrument pricing, including standard Stocks and Bonds and derivatives like Options, Futures, and Swaps.
- Participation in the CFA Program or FRM Program.
- Interest in capital markets and portfolio management.
- An affinity for working with software, data, and analytics.
- Python and data science skills is a plus.
