Risk Response Manager This role involves strategically managing complex risks and escalations to protect the integrity of our online platform and community. Key Responsibilities: Risk Management : Oversee the escalation process from customer service and cross-functional teams, addressing copyright infringement, advertising fraud, hate speech, minor safety concerns, and underage accounts. Compliance : Handle inquiries and escalations from authorities, regulators, law enforcement, and court orders, ensuring adherence to Brazilian laws and internal policies. Content Review : Assess sensitive or harmful content with professionalism and discretion. Trend Analysis : Identify emerging risks and trends, providing insights to enhance policies and enforcement strategies. Incident Response : Support and lead responses to major incidents, such as elections, disinformation campaigns, and crisis events. Process Development : Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for scalable and consistent risk response processes. Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams and represent the company in discussions with external stakeholders when required. Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience : Experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Response, Law Enforcement Response, Online Content Moderation, or similar roles. Knowledge : Strong knowledge of Brazil's digital and regulatory landscape, especially regarding online platforms, elections, and content risks. Critical Thinking : Proven ability to manage sensitive escalations and make sound decisions under pressure. Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and investigative skills, with experience drafting SOPs or operational playbooks. Languages : Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (written and verbal).
