Experience in managing the operation and installation of local and/or regional physical security systems or other technical system (automation for example)

Job summary
The position is to contribute on executive tasks related to physical security systems deployment. These systems include (but are not limited to) Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems. The executive tasks comprise both project management administrative ones (updating status, third party vendor access, tickets follow up, etc.) and in-field activities (walk-through/inspections, executive detailing, commissioning support). The position is also responsible for supporting the security team in technical preventative maintenance and repairs related with security systems equipment.
The DSS ultimate success will be measured by how they assist with the development, implementation and commissioning of standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region. This is measured by agreed upon objectives and metrics related to key areas such as the level and quality of customer service provided, access control effectiveness, and the protection of our customer data, employees and visitors. The position will be responsible for supporting the regional Technical Security Program management team by auditing vendor installation and technical work in the field, checking ongoing tt for programming team and also for procurement, creating weekly reports for the SPM team.
Key job responsibilities
- Assist SPM and coordinate vendor activities involved in installation, system repairs and break fix
- Submit access requests for Colo and AWS facilities
- Submit masking requests
- Follow up MOP and MCM approvals
- Schedule Testing and Commissioning with AWS SOC
- Update ticket and engage AWS SOC
- Review as-built documentation to ensure accuracy and up to date
- Review and verify invoices
- Assist SPM in overseeing individual security vendor deliverables, track service delivery and request corrective actions from vendors as needed
- Assist SPM in extracting metrics and observe improvements by looking at and analyzing data
- Assist SPM in verifying Data Center security programs are delivered to meet defined global security standards
- Assist SPM in developing strategies for improving physical security systems deployment
- Assist SPM in maintaining and organizing project documentations and records
- Assist SPM in updating reports and project trackers on the status of physical security projects
- Collaborate with DC Security Managers in identifying security related project opportunities to improve security posture.
- Be able to travel between local sites as needed,up to 50% of the workweek
- BA/BS degree. Experience in corporate security and workplace safety.
- Working experience on project management, checking quotes, invoice receiving and project milestones.
