Security Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position.
We are looking for a Junior Security Compliance Analyst to join us in our mission to make Rocket.Chat the most secure enterprise communication platform for our millions of users By providing assurances to colleagues, customers and auditors, you will be an integral part of Rocket.Chat´s growing information security program.
**Your skills**:
- Fluent English;
- Familiarity with at least one major security control framework (e.g. SOC 2, ISO, NIST, COSO, COBIT, etc.);
- Working understanding of how compliance works with cloud-native technology stacks;
- Experience in control automation and knowledge of international privacy laws (GDPR, LGPD, etc.) are differentiators;
- Ownership in what you do / working without close supervision;
- Get things done-attitude;
- You're a teamplayer and have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Ethics / Ability to deal with sensitive information;
- Experience with JavaScript and MongoDB to better understand our product is a PLUS;

**What you'll do **‍**:
- Leverage internal infrastructure through controls and implement actions that accelerate engineering and reduce risk;
- Analyze critical flows, identify and implement best monitoring practices;
- Find new techniques and technologies, multiplying efficiency through tools and libraries;
- Increase usability of automations related to cloud policies;
- Build and execute security plans;
- Document safety-related operating procedures and protocols;
- Maintain disaster recovery plans and train staff on security procedures;
- Analyze, identify, propose and implement security controls and processes;
- Prepare security reports in order to map possible crises;
- Propose new approaches to different security challenges;
- Suggest and implement new structures and tools to reduce the attack surface;
- Evaluate methodologies, tools and solutions to support Cyber Security processes;
- Prepare diagnostics of the security environment as well as plan the prevention mechanisms for security breaches and external attacks in order to guarantee data protection (LGPD) and infrastructure;
