In all environments, we acquire process and interpret surveys that provide our clients with a comprehensive understanding of their subsurface targets and geological settings. We deliver our unique expertise in geoscience technology and project management through our three complementary business activities: Equipment, Acquisition and GGR (Geology, Geophysics & Reservoir).
**Job Description**:
The interpreter will work within the interpretation team for VMB - under supervision of a Team Leader. His/her tasks include interpreting geologically/geophysically 3D seismic data and design scenarios tests for VMB in different seismic processing projects.
Uses CGG visualization tools to perform seismic interpretation for the Velocity Model Building (VMB) - key step for PSDM flow:
- NMO picking;
- RMO editing for Tomography;
- Horizons piking;
- Produce geophysical/geological scenarios for VMB;
- Submit processing jobs for VMB;
- Seismic data QC: gathers, stacks, attributes, velocities, maps, etc.
