Responsibilities
  • Represent management in collective bargaining negotiations, legal proceedings, arbitration, and mediation.
  • Interpret collective bargaining agreements and provide guidance to executives and managers on labor relations matters.
  • Provide guidance and assistance with labor relations matters (including grievances, legal claims, and administrative complaints), dispute resolution, and employee discipline.
  • Train staff, managers, supervisors, and officials on labor laws and policies.
  • Develop and implement effective labor relations strategies.
  • Manage outside counsel in all labor relations matters.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys on labor-related issues.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor and membership in good standing in the appropriate bar.
  • Strong background in labor relations, with experience in collective bargaining negotiations, legal proceedings, arbitration, and mediation.
  • Ability to advise executives and managers and coordinate with external counsel.
