We are seeking a qualified Lead Automation Tester to ensure the quality of our SaaS eLearning platform built on the Microsoft (dot)NET framework.

This pivotal role focuses on creating, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive testing frameworks to uphold exceptional product standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design automation test scripts using Playwright for web and mobile platforms
  • Perform manual testing for Android and iOS mobile applications to uncover quality issues
  • Build an automation framework tailored specifically for mobile app testing
  • Validate APIs with tools like Postman, adhering to established API testing practices
  • Collaborate with teams such as developers and designers to resolve software faults
  • Create test cases by analyzing software requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Work with the Scrum methodology by contributing to sprint planning, standups, and reviews
  • Take initiative to learn new tools and technologies required for evolving projects
  • Communicate detailed test findings to stakeholders
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in QA and automation testing, with at least 3 years in a (dot)NET environment
  • Proficiency in tools like Playwright, SpecFlow, and Postman
  • Skills in testing modern web and mobile applications for Android and iOS
  • Understanding of C# programming for advanced test automation
  • Capability to design and maintain test automation frameworks meeting project requirements
  • Background in Agile (Scrum) software development processes
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for ensuring effective testing
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with cloud-based tools or services for mobile and web application testing
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their role in test automation within DevOps practices
  • Background in mentoring QA professionals and refining organizational testing strategies
  • Contributions to process optimizations that significantly enhanced software quality
