This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the most innovative online retailer and to develop and build strong functional skills across retail in online merchandising/marketing, buying, planning and forecasting, pricing, and business analysis. The Vendor Analyst roles are in the General Management career path at Amazon and offer an opportunity for greater responsibility and advancement into a variety of roles including Merchandising, Vendor Management, and Instock Management.
- The ability to quickly learn a varied set of software and editing tools (including HTML, Excel, and Access) is necessary, and prior experience is a plus.
- SQL experience a bonus.
- Prior experience with presentation, organization and account/vendor management is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, proven multi-tasking ability, and quantitative analysis.
- Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and analytical.
