The role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. This role is crucial in driving financial stability and success through detailed analysis, accurate financial reporting, and efficient budget management. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial analysis, ensuring the accuracy of financial closings, and managing budget performance. This position will work closely with management and various stakeholders to support decision-making processes and optimise financial performance. To be more specific your core responsibilities will include:
1. Financial Analysis
- Define and implement the analytical structure within our internal management information systems (ERP).
- Establish, review, and monitor budgets and financial forecasts for the company.
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to support management decisions.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess company performance.
- Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making.
- Conduct monthly performance monitoring, including Profit & Loss (P&L), balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
2. Financial Closing
- Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Ensure the accuracy of accounting entries and financial statements.
- Coordinate with accounting teams to ensure timely and precise financial closings.
- Analyse discrepancies and resolve accounting anomalies to ensure financial data integrity.
3. Budget Management
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the company’s annual budgets.
- Compare actual performance against budgets, providing detailed variance analysis.
- Offer recommendations for cost optimization and margin improvement based on budget reviews and analysis.

- Proven experience in financial analysis, closing processes, and budget management.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, including ERP systems.
- Expertise in preparing and analysing financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to management and stakeholders.
- Professional accounting or finance qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
- Experience with financial management within our environment.
- Experience working in English
