Overview Employer Industry: Engineering Services for Electrical Infrastructure Why consider this job opportunity Salary up to $179,890 Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Comprehensive healthcare plans and generous paid time off Award-winning benefits recognized for compensation and employee satisfaction Flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance Potential travel opportunities for design reviews and field verification Responsibilities Lead engineering and design projects for high voltage substations, focusing on protective relaying and control systems Prepare relaying philosophies and oversee the development of SCADA and telecommunication configurations Guide junior and senior engineers in protection and controls engineering design efforts Conduct independent reviews of calculations and design documents prepared by others Present findings and recommendations for facility upgrades to clients and peers Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a focus on power systems or controls from an ABET-accredited program Minimum of 10 years of experience in protection, control, and telecommunications for high voltage substations Proven experience in client liaison roles within engineering projects Proficiency with engineering software such as SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, or CDEGS Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications PE license or prior experience in bus and equipment protection Familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation Experience with construction and start-up processes Knowledge of testing and commissioning practices Experience with various vendor protective relay equipment used in substations #EngineeringJobs #ElectricalEngineering #HighVoltage #CareerOpportunity #EmployeeBenefits #WorkLifeBalance We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
