**Job Description**:**Hybrid**: This position requires an employee to be on site 3 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)**Logistics Sr. Buyer (South America)**We are looking for a profile capable of playing a strategic role in the area of Logistics Purchasing by performing data intelligence, business intelligence and evaluating logistics costs to manage the strategic purchasing process.**What you will do/Responsibilities**:- Participate on Ct Calls & Meetings- Run Sourcing Events:- Run sourcing strategies for the Logistics GPSC;- Run RFQ with methods pursuing quality, timely decisions and performance for GPSC Logistics;- Follow RFQ timelines following procedures and attending All GM requestor needs;- Finding Opportunities- Identify Threats- Feed the Buyer Toolbox to quickly manage threats claims;- Follow the template and channel to present to the leadership potential threats;- Budget Inputs- Understand contracts Cost Break Down and mains drivers;- Feed in a weekly basis the Budget/Forecast activities;**Additional Job Description**:**Required Qualifications**:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineer, or related Careers.- +3 years of previous experience in similar positions ( **Purchasing **, Foreign Trade, Customs, Supply Chain Organization or related)- Microsoft Office: intermediate level.- English: fluent/advanced level.- Availability to work in Sao Caetano Do Sul, Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a hybrid regime (3 times per week in person = Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)**Preferred qualifications**:- Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)- Knowledge of Data Tools/PowerBI.- Experience working with Agile/Opex methodologies.**IMPORTANT: To view the full job description, use your Workday system in English.**LI-BSC115**About GM**:Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all.**Why Join Us**:We aspire to be the most inclusive company in the world.
